mcatMephedrone is an amphetamine like drug that belongs to a group of drugs called cathinones. Taking Mephedrone results in a similar feeling to taking speed or other stimulants in that you feel euphoric, alert and talkative.

There have been very recent developments in the popularity of this drug but research shows that the risk of death is quite apparent.

Like speed or ecstasy, mephedrone makes you feel alert, euphoric, confident and talkative and can make you feel more empathic towards others.

  • Palpatations, vertigo, sweating
  • Overstimulation of the nervous system causing fits and agitation
  • Possible links to death in the UK. Confirmed death in Sweden
