Amyl Nitrate more commonly known as poppers is sold in small bottles and is a liquid chemical called alkyl nitrites. When sniffed from the bottle the fumes of this chemical will deliver an immediate but short lived high. They do this by dilating the blood vessels and allowing more blood to the heart.
